Martin looks after IT support and security for Eden Property. He is a qualified motor mechanic and a Microsoft-certified systems engineer.Since 2022 he has worked as an independent consultant, providing IT support and practical building maintenance to small businesses across New South Wales. The work is hands-on: faults are diagnosed on site, systems are kept running, and smaller maintenance jobs are carried through rather than handed on.His earlier career was in technical operations. He was IT Manager for a resort and for energy operations in the Middle East, and before that supported large sites in Queensland and the Northern Territory, including mine and infrastructure operations, as well as desktop and systems support in London. From 1989 to 2000 he worked as an automotive mechanical engineer with BMW, Ford and Nissan in New South Wales, including air-conditioning work and inspection certificates. He is a CompTIA A+ certified professional.Owners and residents deal with him for the practical problems: plant and equipment, access and communications systems, and the smaller repairs that keep a building comfortable.
